Poppy seed is here!
The newborn made her debut at 1:30 a.m. weighing 7 lbs., 6 oz. and measuring 21.5 inches.
“She has a full head of hair and loves to stick her tongue out,” Yeh tells PEOPLE. “If you need me, I’ll be cuddling and smooching her all day long forever and ever.”
The star added that the bundle of joy’s name has special significance for both her and her husband.
“We are so wildly in love! Bernie is named after Nick’s great-great-grandpa Bernt, who came from Norway and started the Hagen farm,” Yeh said. “And my great-grandpa Bernard, who came over from Hungary. Rosemary was my mom’s mom.”
Yeh, who, as her fans know, affectionally called her baby “poppy seed” in utero, filmed season 2 and 3 of her show Girl Meets Farm while pregnant. Her popular food blog My Name is Yeh will continue to be updated while she is enjoying time with her new little one with posts and recipes she prepped in anticipation. Yeh will begin shooting her show again in her home in North Dakota after her maternity leave.
The cookbook author announced her pregnancy exclusively with PEOPLE back in November before revealing her baby bump on the season 2 premiere of Girl Meets Farm.
“I am so excited,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “I was made to make cute little lunches. I am so excited for that. I’m so excited to go to Disney World. I just really love kid stuff.”

Yeh and Hagen, who were married in December 2014, wanted to be surprised about the sex of their baby and kept a list of both boy and girl names a secret from their family and friends.
Yeh gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek at her nursery ahead of giving birth earlier this month. It features a gorgeous white crib, Aztec baby blanket, hippo rocker and some very on-brand touches like a stuffed beet and a rainbow wall hanging, proving her baby will surely share Yeh’s passion for rainbow sprinkles.

She told PEOPLE she was “feeling great” throughout her pregnancy, and that one of her only pregnancy cravings was bagels — hence the poppy seed nickname.
“In the beginning, I was really craving matza and bagels — anything as a vehicle for cream cheese,” she said. “This kid is going to be Jewish, I mean, if it wasn’t clear already.”
Season 3 of Girl Meets Farm premieres Sunday on the Food Network.
